Getting Started-Schedule your FREE meet-n- greet!

​Ready to get started?  Just give us a call, send a text, or visit our "Contact" page to send a message.  We'll arrange a free meet-n- greet to get to know you and your pets, discuss their needs, and create the perfect care plan.  We look forward to meeting you and your fur family!  

How do I book a service?

The first step to booking a service is to click on "Create Account" and complete a new client registration form on our Time To Pet client portal.  This will allow us to understand the specific needs of your pet.  Once you have registered an account and created your pet profile, you can easily request a service by selecting your desired date and pet care service.

How do I pay for services?

Invoices must be paid in full prior to the scheduled start date of any service.   We accept ACH and credit card payments.  You can also pay using Venmo, PayPal or Zelle.

Do we offer service for your pets without a prior Meet-N-Greet?

We require that we meet your pets before services can be scheduled.  This is our opportunity to form a connection with your pets, learn their personalities, routines, and quirks.  This is essential to assist in making sure their time is peaceful and  enjoyable while you're away.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We would prefer at least one weeks advance notice, especially for first-time clients so we have plenty of time for the complimentary meet-n-greet.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel service free of charge if the service is cancelled by 5:00 p.m. the night before. 

If a service is cancelled after 5:00 p.m. there may be a cancellation fee of 75% of the scheduled visit.

 

"No Call" Cancellations will be charged the full amount of service.

Cancellations during holiday periods may be made up to seven (7) days in advance of the first scheduled service.  After that period, a cancellation fee may be charged of 50% of the total reservation.  Cancellations of less that 24 hours are due in full.  There will be no credits given for visits cancelled due to a client's late departure or early return home.  Client's will be required to pay for the reserved number of visits.

What do you do when it rains?

We put on our rain boots, grab an umbrella and carry on!  In the event of severe weather (hurricanes, snow/ice, etc...), we do our best to reach your pets within a reasonable amount of time but only after it is safe for us to do so.  We will clean up any messes that your pets make if we are overly delayed.

How many dogs do you walk at one time?

Providing our undivided attention to your dogs is our priority; therefore, we only walk two dogs from the same household at one time.  If you have more than two dogs or would like your dogs to be walked separately, we can divide your scheduled time to accommodate this.

Do you provide service over the holidays?

Yes, we do.  We do charge a holiday fee of $10 per day that goes to your sitter on major holidays.

Major holidays include: Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and New Years Eve and New Years Day.

What is the rate for a meet-n-greet?

It's FREE!

Do you offer boarding services?

We do not offer boarding.  We come to your house and provide your pets with loving care as if you were home.  With multiple visits throughout the day we will have plenty of playtime, belly rubs and snuggles, while your pets remains happy in the comfort of their own home.

What type of pets do you care for?

We care for every pet from dog, cats and farm animals to exotics and everything in between.

Will you post my pets on social media?

We actively post on our business Facebook page.  We do not share or tag your name or identifying information of your home, though we will often share your pets' names.  If you do not wish for us to post your pets on our social media, please let us know ahead of time.

Are you insured?

Yes, BIC provides our coverage, including bonding.

How is my house key/code and/or alarm code secured?

Please have at least one key ready for the meet-n-greet.  All keys are kept secure in a locked safe when not in use.  Keys are labeled with your pet's name only, never with an address or owner's name.   All codes are kept in the private notes section of the client file. 

What's included in a visit?

Our visits include all care related to keeping your pets healthy and happy while you're gone, as well as maintaining a clean living environment.  We are happy to collect mail, packages, water plants, take out trash and do a general house check.
